How should you begin?

Choose the required task, read the official eligibility conditions and check your account balance before increasing usage.

Sync’s official Free Trial documentation, reviewed on 7 October 2026, describes three lip-sync generations and ten text-to-speech generations per calendar month for free accounts. Studio and API access are included, with no credit card required. These are generation allowances, not a dollar credit grant. This document-based guide explains signup preparation, model and duration limits, and what changes when subscribing. Publisher: SmartDealIndex. What the free account actually includes

Read the dedicated Free Trial guide before registering. It caps ordinary free lip-sync generations at twenty seconds. Of the three monthly generations, at most one may use Sync 3, and that generation has a fifteen-second cap. The Sync 3 attempt is part of the three, not an extra fourth generation. The documentation includes the lipsync family; react-1 requires a paid subscription.

The allowance refreshes each calendar month and unused generations do not roll over. Ten TTS generations means ten generation events under the provider’s rules, not ten minutes, ten dollars or an unlimited quantity of speech. The inspected source does not establish a universal TTS duration or text-length allowance, so inspect the current account and model limits before preparing a long script.

Lip-sync and TTS have separate counters. If you generate speech from text inside a lip-sync workflow, the speech generation uses the TTS allowance and the lip-sync uses the lip-sync allowance. A combined workflow is not free of TTS consumption because you initiated it from the lip-sync screen. Check both counters before planning the next attempt.

Prepare inputs before signup

Choose a short, original clip and audio you are permitted to process. You may use a recording of yourself or authorized production material, but permission to possess a file is not automatically permission to change a person’s speech or publish the result. Establish the intended use and necessary permissions before uploading.

Keep the first test comfortably within the documented duration cap. Pick a clear visual subject and a short script you can inspect. This is a suggested preparation workflow, not a claim that a specific clip was tested or that every recording will produce an acceptable result. Retain the unmodified source separately so you can distinguish the generated result from the original.

Decide what you will observe: whether the generated speech matches the intended words, whether the visible mouth movement is acceptable for your project, and whether editing artifacts make it unsuitable. Do not report an accuracy percentage or time saving until you have evidence from a real test. Avoid using a generated clip to misrepresent what someone actually said.

Follow the documented registration route

  1. Read the current allowance, duration and model details in the official Free Trial guide.
  2. Open Sync signup through the provider’s official route. No authenticated signup screen was inspected and no account was created for this article.
  3. Use genuine details and inspect the terms presented to your account. Country availability and account-specific verification requirements remain unverified.
  4. Confirm that the account is on Free and shows the expected monthly counters. Record the displayed reset information rather than assuming a particular local-time midnight.
  5. Choose Studio for the documented no-code route, or follow the official API instructions. The Free Trial guide says the API key is available through Settings; consult current documentation if labels change.
  6. Add the required visual and audio inputs, select an eligible model and check duration before generating. The source FAQ says the button appears after a visible-face video or image and an audio file or TTS input are supplied.
  7. Inspect the result and the remaining counters. Failed-job charging, cancellation treatment and account-specific limits were not verified by this research.

The documentation introduction links integration guidance. Store API credentials securely and avoid putting them into public tutorials or shared screenshots. These steps describe the official route, not an account acceptance guarantee.

Understand watermarks and later billing

Free outputs include a Sync watermark. The paid Hobbyist plan also includes one; Creator and higher remove watermarks from exports according to the Free Trial guide. Do not advise cropping or altering marks to evade the applicable plan conditions. A plan’s watermark behavior is separate from the rights to your input and the permissions for publishing output.

Subscribing moves the account immediately to paid usage billing. Paid subscriptions do not preserve the monthly free generation allowance, even when you upgrade partway through a month. Read the billing guide before subscribing and compare the plan, selected model and expected workload.

The separate credit-billing guide says free accounts do not use credits. Paid credit-model availability depends on the organization. Its broader wording about TTS or dubbing should not be converted into a new independent free allowance; this article uses the TTS quantity explicitly confirmed by the dedicated Free Trial guide.

Keep an honest evaluation record

For each attempt, note the input identifier, model, duration, whether generated speech was used, counters before and after, and the result you actually observed. This helps distinguish a model experiment from quota consumption. Do not create duplicate accounts to multiply monthly allowances.

Commercial-use rights were not established by the inspected credit documentation. Confirm the current terms and your project’s input permissions before using output in a customer deliverable or advertisement. The guide does not claim output ownership, unrestricted commercial use or project-specific clearance.

For related limits, read the image-credit rights guide and the global program overview. Those comparisons do not transfer rights or balances between services.

Frequently asked questions

Are the three lip-sync generations a one-time trial?

The reviewed documentation says free accounts receive three fresh lip-sync generations each calendar month, with no rollover.

Is Sync 3 an additional fourth generation?

No. At most one of the three lip-sync generations can use Sync 3, capped at fifteen seconds.

Does generating speech inside lip-sync use both counters?

Yes. Generated TTS audio consumes a TTS generation, and its lip-sync workflow consumes a lip-sync generation.

Does a paid plan keep the free monthly quota?

No. The documentation says subscribing switches immediately to paid usage and paid plans have no monthly free-generation allowance.
