Its landing page advertises 25% recurring commission during a new subscriber’s first year. The provider terms cap the period at 12 consecutive months and treat annual purchases differently from monthly renewals. Read those distinctions before forecasting revenue.

What the first-year commission actually covers
The OpusClip affiliate terms specify a standard commission of 25% of an eligible subscription sale price for no more than 12 consecutive months from its initial sale. Monthly renewals can produce commission within that period while the customer remains subscribed. An annual subscription produces a one-time commission on the annual purchase; the terms exclude commission on its subsequent annual renewal.
The landing-page FAQ says payments continue while a referral remains subscribed. Do not interpret that broad sentence as lifetime commission: the specific provider terms impose a limit. If your future dashboard offers different terms, retain the applicable version and seek confirmation rather than silently replacing the published limit.
The terms define a new customer as someone who has never previously subscribed to use OpusClip products. A click or free signup alone is not a valid purchase. OpusClip decides whether a transaction qualifies and resolves attribution discrepancies. The terms list Essential and Pro monthly or annual subscriptions and exclude custom-priced non-self-service packages. Confirm how those names map to plans currently sold.
Prepare a relevant application
The terms require applicants to be at least 18 and to have suitable payment details. They exclude residents of countries currently under OFAC sanctions. Approval remains at the provider’s discretion; meeting those conditions does not establish acceptance in every other country.
If your channel covers video repurposing, prepare a real content URL and a truthful audience description. Identify a specific workflow you can explain, such as selecting interview excerpts, reviewing captions and checking reframing. Describe a new channel honestly rather than inventing follower totals or customers. These are preparation suggestions, not a claim that the live form always asks the same questions.
Follow the official application route
- Open the OpusClip affiliate page and its linked provider terms.

- Create or sign in to the affiliate account as the interface requests. A video-editing product account does not establish affiliate approval.
- Complete the actual form accurately, read the terms and submit your own application. This guide does not submit it for you.
- Check email and application status. The landing page estimates roughly a week for approval; that is not a guaranteed deadline.
- Once accepted, retrieve your personal tracking link, confirm eligible current plans and configure payment through the official account.

Payments and unresolved account details
The marketing page describes monthly PayPal payment on the 15th. The terms permit PayPal or bank details and allow some payments to take up to 45 days after the end of the sale month. That difference means the marketing schedule is not a guaranteed arrival date. Check the actual account setup and transaction status.
Commission calculations may exclude taxes and transaction fees. Refunds, cancellations, duplicates and disputed transactions can lead to adjustment. Multiplying a retail price by 25% does not establish a guaranteed net payment.
Self-purchases are prohibited, including use of another email. Check a link’s destination without manufacturing a self-referral. A specific attribution-cookie window and withdrawal threshold were not established from the reviewed terms. Confirm them before paid promotion. The 60-day period in the dispute-resolution section is not an affiliate cookie window.

- Do you publish long videos that need short clips? Assess the tool against your inputs and usage rights before recommending it.
