DEALRADAR · PRIVACY
Privacy notice
Effective 30 September 2026. This notice describes the public DealRadar website and the choices available to visitors.
At a glance
DealRadar is a static editorial site. We do not ask for an account, sell personal data, or store payment details. Search text in the topic filter stays in your browser and is not sent to our server by the page.
Data the site may receive
- Server and security logs: hosting infrastructure may record an IP address, request time, URL, user agent and response status to deliver pages, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Retention and access follow the hosting provider's current terms.
- Optional analytics: the site may load the first-party
analytics.jshelper for aggregate page and interaction measurements. It must not be used to collect passwords, payment details or the contents of private forms. If analytics is disabled in a deployment, no analytics request is made. - Messages: if you email the correction desk, we receive your address and message so we can respond and keep an audit trail of the correction. We do not use that address for unrelated marketing.
- Affiliate clicks: a merchant may receive click and campaign information under its own privacy notice when you follow a commercial link. DealRadar does not receive your checkout credentials.
Cookies and local storage
We do not require advertising cookies to read the site. Browser features such as the topic query string or local preferences may remain on your device. Your browser and hosting provider can apply their own strictly necessary security cookies; check their notices for details.
Purpose and legal basis
We use operational data to provide and secure the site, respond to messages, measure aggregate performance when enabled, and maintain editorial accountability. We process only what is reasonably needed for those purposes and do not make automated decisions about your eligibility or credit.
Retention and sharing
We keep correction correspondence and material change records for as long as needed to answer the issue and demonstrate the editorial history. Hosting and analytics processors may process technical data to operate their services. We do not sell or rent personal data. We disclose data when required by law or to protect the service from abuse.
Your choices and requests
You can block optional scripts in your browser, avoid sending personal details in a public URL, or contact [email protected] to ask what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a concern. We may need to verify a request before acting. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
Children and changes
The site is general information and is not directed to children under the minimum age set by local law. We will date material changes on this page. The current version is the one published at this URL.
